Morning Smoothie
Mornings are a great time to pack nutrient dense food into your body to prepare for the day. Typically, your body is searching for nutrients in the morning since you fasted overnight while you were sleeping. This allows the nutrients to be absorbed at a higher rate and more efficiently than if you absorbed these nutrients later in the day.
Some of the benefits of getting your nutrients in early are the following:
- Better mood throughout the day
- Higher energy levels
- Heightened focus
- Stabilized blood sugar
- Better performance
A perfect way to ensure you are ingesting a variety of nutrients in the morning is by making a shake or smoothie. This has worked for me because the prep time is short, and you can even prepare the night before. Additionally, it takes no time to make, you simply combine and blend all the ingredients!
One of my favorite smoothies to make has a variety of nutrients such as:

- Almond Milk
- Spinach
- Blueberries & Raspberries
- Hemp seeds
- Avocado
- 1 scoop of Nirvana Life – Pr Strawberry Cheesecake
The smoothie described above contains a variety of antioxidants, healthy fats and protein. The antioxidants promote healthy cells and keeps you from getting sick.
